Welcome to Luminous Landscape LLC. By accessing our website, purchasing our outdoor lighting products, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Luminous Landscape LLC, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy.

2. Product Information & Pricing

  • Accuracy: We strive for accuracy in product descriptions (solid brass, LED specs, etc.). However, we do not warrant that all descriptions or prices are error-free.

  • Modifications: We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

3. Shipping & Freight Liability

  • Standard Shipping: Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • Freight Inspection: As outlined in our Freight Damage Claim Policy, all heavy or fragile shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery.

  • The "Clean Receipt" Rule: Once a shipment is signed for without damage notation, the carrier considers it accepted in good condition. Luminous Landscape LLC cannot guarantee reimbursement for freight claims not documented at delivery.

4. Returns & Restocking Fees

  • RGA Requirement: No returns will be accepted without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Returns sent without an RGA may be refused.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

  • Fees: Returns not due to our error are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Non-Returnable: Custom orders, special orders, and items showing signs of installation (wired, mounted, or modified) are final sale.

5. Installation & Professional Responsibility

  • Recommendation: We strongly recommend installation by licensed electricians or qualified landscape professionals.

  • Limitation of Liability: Luminous Landscape LLC is not responsible for installation errors, including incorrect wiring, voltage selection, or water intrusion due to poor workmanship.

  • No Labor Reimbursement: Under no circumstances—including warranty claims or shipping errors—will Luminous Landscape LLC be liable for labor costs, contractor fees, or installation expenses.

6. Warranty Claims

  • Manufacturer Backed: Warranties are provided by the manufacturers of the fixtures, transformers, and LED lamps.

  • Proof of Purchase: Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser.

  • Exclusions: Damage from "acts of God" (flooding, storms), landscaping equipment, or unauthorized modifications is not covered.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminous Landscape LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products, including but not limited to property damage or personal injury. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Luminous Landscape LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the site or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
